“My family has a long history with Sevier County Bank. My husband was a loan officer here for many years. After we lost him suddenly, I was given the opportunity to work here and immediately accepted. When I started, I was in the Operations Building or the “Temple” as it was known to us. I had heard for some time that the building was haunted but tended to discount the story. There were three of us who worked in the building who drank coffee. One morning we came in to work and a fresh pot of coffee was waiting for us. No one else even knew how to make it so I tend to think our friendly “ghost” had our coffee ready to greet us that morning.”
