“We have a customer that has aging parents that lived out of town. He is an only child and had to make some hard decisions to convince his aging parents to move closer to him where he could better care for them. We knew that he was struggling with this decision. His parents were having some adjustment issues not being as independent as they once were and know in assisted living. Although we didn’t want to pry, we would ask from time to time how things were going and if there was anything we could do. He said that he really appreciated our concern and kind words and that he could not tell us how much that meant to him. Not only were we his bank, we were were his friends as well.”
